Shipping Address
A valid shipping address must be provided at the beginning of each sale. If the address is not correct, we cannot be responsible for shipping errors in any way. We are able to send to a business address, but please make sure your business can accept live reptile deliveries and that you are able to sign for the package specifically. Packages signed by someone other than the agreed upon person shall make the health guarantee void, as we cannot guarantee that the package was handled properly by someone else. Scheduling your Shipment Shipping must be discussed by both parties and agreed upon in writing (email) before shipments will be made. Shipments will be done on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday for overnight delivery. You must let us know when you are available, and arrangements must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Shipments will not be made unless payment is received in full.
Shipping Method Shipments will be made by FedEx Overnight service, set up for delivery by 10:30 a.m. if available. We are able to use the USPS, but this is NOT recommended. The live arrival guarantee is void if shipping via USPS. Shipping methods must be agreed upon in writing (email) before shipments are made. Shipping Costs Shipping costs will be paid by the customer at the time of purchase. You will be given a quote for shipping when discussing payments. Cost will vary by zip code and availability of FedEx to provide 10:30 a.m. service. Shipping costs can be combined for multiple animals purchased as long as the shipping weight maximum is not exceeded. "Weather Permitting" All shipments are done on a "weather permitting" basis. This means that temperatures on both sides will not be below 40F, and not above 85F. We will under no circumstances ship an animal if temperatures are below 35F or above 90F, so please do not ask. We are more concerned with the health of our animal than quickly shipping in bad conditions. It is the customer's responsibility to check the weather forecast before scheduling shipping, and to provide us with a zip code to verify. We use Weather.com to verify weather conditions. |
Live arrival is guaranteed as long as temperatures in your area are between 40F (night time low) and 85F (daytime high) at your location, and someone is available to sign for the package upon delivery. Heat or cold packs can be used if requested. We are willing to hold your animals at no charge until shipping conditions are optimal, and they will be treated as our own family while in our care. We can even provide pictures and updates when requested if we have the time. Animals on hold will be separated from the rest if necessary to guarantee you will receive the animal in the same condition as the day it was purchased (no tail nips, toe nips, etc if they were not there already).
If delivering to a business address, the person signing for the package MUST be agreed upon by both parties, as we cannot guarantee that a third party will properly handle the package or deliver it in a timely manner.
DOA Arrivals
If your animals arrives DOA or unhealthy for any reason, you MUST contact us within 3 hours of delivery. If we do not hear from you within that time, we will assume the animal arrived alive and healthy. DOA arrivals will require photo proof sent, or we may require you to ship the animal back to us at your expense via overnight FedEx service. DOA's will be replaced or credit will be given if no suitable replacement is available. Refunds can be discussed if no suitable replacement is available also. |
Deposits
To place an animal on hold, a 25% non-refundable deposit must be placed. If sending a deposit via postal money order, a tracking number must be sent within 24 hours of mailing payment. Once the deposit is received, the animal will be marked on "hold" status on the website, and the balance will be due within 48 hours, unless other arrangements are agreed upon in writing (email). Shipments will not be made under any circumstance until the balance is paid in full. Payment Plans If you would like to discuss a payment plan, please contact us. All arrangements will be made and agreed upon in writing (email). Payment plans are considered on a case by case basis. PLEASE REMEMBER: An animal is not considered to be sold until a non-refundable deposit is made, and a tracking number for postal money orders is received within 24 hours of sending payment! |
We offer a full 100% 7-Day health guarantee on all of our animals. We do not ship an animal unless we believe it to be in optimal health, but understand that things happen. If you suspect health issues, you need to contact us IMMEDIATELY with your concerns, and we will do everything in our power to help you remedy the issues.
Representation of our Animals Online vs. Arrival We do everything in our power to represent our animals in their truest colors and weights possible in our online photographs and descriptions. Please note that computer monitors differ, and sometimes the colorization may be slightly off from one to another. Coloring differences can be due to stress, shedding (in pictures or in shipping), and other factors out of our control. If you are truly interested in an animal and would like to see more pictures, please contact us and we will try to accommodate your request. Understand that we have many animals, and are not always available to take extra pictures. Pictures and weights online will be dated.
Sexing Policy If an animal is sold on our website as sexed to be male or female, we offer a 100% guarantee on the sex. If you question the sex of the animal, or find out that our sexing was incorrect, please contact us immediately so we can resolve this. The resolution is on a case by case basis, and can include replacement (with return of the incorrectly sexed animal) or credit towards purchase. Most of our animals are NOT guaranteed to be male or female, and only the animals noted on the website as sexed are guaranteed. We will, however, do our best to provide you with a sexed animal if at all possible. |
